[glow=red,2,300] Syeira travelled in the darkness of the night looking for pokemon. She travelled quietly through the tall grass, brushing away branches from trees and folding away the grass, trying to see a pokemon in the midst of it but it wasn't easy to see in the darkness of night. Both her pokemon were out helping her search, and from time to time she patted them on the head. She really wanted a Piplup, Totodile, or Mudkip, but that was her, she was looking for a water pokemon to add to her team next. [/color][/glow]

A small flock of Hoothoot flew over Syeira. A Spinirak could be seen from not very far away, making a web. Then, in the distance, the pond could be seen.

Syeira jumped as the Hoothoot flew out in front of her and she looked at her pokedex. She closed it and ordered Shinx to use tackle on one, since he had more speed. She ordered Eevee to do it right after in a chain event and threw a pokeball, hoping to catch it, and wondering whether it would be a good idea to try for the spinarak, since she personally didn't like bug types. Especially spider mimikers. She shuddered at the thought and decided against it.

After the Hoothoot got hit by Shinx's attack, the whole flock turned around to chase after Syeira. The attacked Hoothoot used a Tackle attack on the incoming Eevee, and was knocked back by Eevee's Tackle. It got up, looking for the Eevee, when it was 'attacked' by a pokeball.
The pokeball started to shake as the Hoothoot tried to get out. After a second or two, the Hoothoot escaped and the pokeball returned to Syeira.

Syeira ducked as they chased after her and sighed. She needed more experiance. She picked up the pokeball and called Eevee over, who had been grazed by the attack as she had dodged. She walked over to the pond, and sat next to it, wondering if any water pokemon would just pop out since she didn't have a fishing rod. (Lol)

The Hoothoot flew off in the direction the ahere headed earlier.
What looked like a small, blue circle could be seen about ten feet away from Syeira. On the other side of the pond, a lone Murkrow was taking a drink.

Syeira wondered if she'd have a chance at catching the bird pokemon, and she knew Murkrow were utterly vicious. She whispered to her pokemon the attack plan and they snuck around the pond silently, and then they tackled at the bird one at a time, about four times altogether, and Syeira threw the pokeball again. She was sick of pokemon trying to have a go at her since she was trying to catch them, and maybe since this pokemon was alone, it would be easier to catch though they were pretty stubborn.

The blue circle dipped under the water after hearing the attacks around it.
The Murkrow, after being hit by two of the Tackles, flew into the air and dove, using a peck attack on Shinx. The pokeball hit the tip of Murkrow's 'hat' and it was sent into the pokeball.
The pokeball shook like crazy, as the Murkrow obviously didn't want to be caught. It broke free, but, luckily for Syeira, the pokeball fell back onto the bird. The pokeball shook lightly and then stopped.

Syeira smiled and picked up the pokeball, attaching it to her belt and then continueing her look around the pond. Now that she had a flying type, she could probally get other flying types. Now she needed a water type or somthing that swam.

For awhile, nothing came put of the water, or near the pond for that matter. The commotion from earlier seemed to have startled the pokemon.

Syeira stopped and sighed. She walked over to a tree and laid under it, looking at the stars, waiting for all the pokemon to return, Shinx and Eevee nestled at her sides.

After a few minutes, a few Surskit had arrived at the pond, 'skating' across the pond's surface.

Syeira sat up and watched them. It was pretty how they did that, especially in the moonlight. She sat wathcing them. She didn't want to disturb them, because no matter how much she wanted more pokemon, she still loved them all and knew it was only right she not try to capture everything she saw.

A group of Kricketot could be heard 'singing' about 10 feet away from the pond's edge, slightly hidden behind some bushes.

Syeira listened for a while and told Eevee to sneak up on them and use tail whip to lower the Kricketot's defense, and she told Shinx to use tackle to lower the HP and weaken it. the pokemon did so and she ordered them each to do another tackle and then she threw the pokeball, and the sent out Murkrow and completely surronded the pokemon so it couldn't escape. She was starting to strategize more for success.
